Unlike many artist venues, we do not require the artist to "jump through hoops" to conform to a slide standard or uniformity.Our slide viewer is rarely handy when we need it.

Actually, submission by jpeg image or pdf is easier us for us to review the works on-line. Slides, photos or color prints will suffice if you feel that they capture the true quality of your work.

For inclusion in a show, we will require at least four works or 16 sq. feet minimum.Some future shows may be thematic and submissions should reflect the theme (loose, vague translations ok with us, depending upon your persuasiveness)Please see list for anticipated shows.

All works (canvas, paper,wood, photos) should be of archival standards with professional presentations re framing.Any piece over 144 sq. in mush be covered in plexiglass. At this time we do not have the facilities for sculpture or installation works but we do plan such shows in the future.

Works must have been created within the last two years and have had minimal public exposure.

All works submitted must be made available for purchase by the viewing public. The sales fees to be discussed directly with the staff of ARTSPACE.

Artist's are to provide a mailing list for the opening and will participate actively in the presentation of the show (approx. 45 days)

The artist will provide a resume for promotional copy. If artist statements will enhance the works the artist may submit these as well.

Regarding the above.......the lack of past exhibitions or lack of a long list of academic achievements will not inhibit your inclusion in an exhibition. Also,these rules are flexible and not meant to sound restrictive. We welcome your participation.Non traditional, contemporary works will have an "edge".
