KiDS WiTHOUT BoRDERS is the humanitarian organization of the children. It was created by the kids who answered the appeal
of ARTISTS WITHOUT BORDERS and participated in its campaigns MY FRIEND IS IN KOSOVO/A and MERRY CHRISTMAS, EAST TIMOR!
KiDS WiTHOUT BoRDERS aims to link the children living in peaceful and developed countries with the children who become
victims of war or who are suffering in other parts of the world.
Among other objectives KiDS WiTHOUT BoRDERS aims
to:
- Provide humanitarian relief through games, intercultural exchange, art and entertainment to the children suffering
in other parts of the world.
- Promote the outstanding art created by the children victims of war, natural disasters
or in distress.
- To raise consciousness through art about the suffering of the children victims of war, refugees
and IDCs (internally displaced children), natural disasters, ailing from incurable diseases, or whose culture is in danger
of extinction.
ARTSPACE is in the process of arranging with ARTISTS WITHOUT BORDERS,a benefit exhibit featuring the art of the children of
war torn countries. If you are an elementary school teacher in St. Clair County and you wish to participate,please contact
us regarding an exchange of your pupil's art from the midwestern United States. This is truly a cross cultural program to
benefit understanding.
