After earning his Master of Arts degree at Illinois State University (Normal) in 1962,Mr. Isom started teaching high school in Skokie,Illinois and exhibiting his works in the Chicago area. In 1966 Isom returned to Belleville as a teacher at Belleville East High School and Belleville Area College.He served as Department Chairman for 28 years before retiring recently.
